Peter J. Frischholz
Major Peter Frischholz was born and raised in Lockport, NY. He received his commission from Canisius College’s ROTC program. Major Frischholz served in the 3rd Infantry Division. While in 3rd ID, he served two combat rotations to Iraq as a platoon leader, executive officer, and Aide-de-Camp. As a U.S. Army Special Forces officer, he’s served in 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group. Major Frischholz served as a Special Forces Company Commander, a Battalion Executive Officer, and the Task Force-10 Operations Officer. During this time, he deployed to Afghanistan, and conducted operations throughout Eastern Europe.
He has a B.S. in History from Buffalo State University, an M.S. in Business & Organizational Leadership from Kansas University, and is a graduate of the US Army’s Command and General Staff College.
Major Frischholz remains steadfastly dedicated to the personal and professional development of our active and reserve service members, and is excited about this opportunity to serve our veteran community as they look to embark on a pathway for education.
Major Frischholz currently serves in the USSOCOM J8 Directorate in Tampa, FL. He enjoys playing hockey, mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
